Job Overview : As a Mechanical Engineer at eFishery, you will be playing a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment used in our Tilapia Project in Medan. Your expertise will be ensuring that our aquaculture processes operate efficiently, safely, and sustainably, supporting the company’s mission to revolutionize the aquaculture industry.

Job Responsibilities :

• Designing, developing, and overseeing the installation and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment for tilapia processing.
• Conducting detailed engineering analysis and calculations to ensure systems are efficient and meet regulatory standards.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and R&D, to optimize equipment performance.
• Developing and implementing preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues promptly to maintain continuous operations.
• Ensuring all mechanical systems comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Preparing and maintaining detailed documentation, including design specifications, technical reports, and user manuals.
• Staying updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering and aquaculture.
• Participating in the commissioning and testing of new equipment and systems.

Job Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within the aquaculture or food processing industry.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for designing and modeling mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics.
• Experience with PLCs and automation systems is a plus.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying issues and developing effective solutions.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software and tools.
• Language: Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is preferred.
