Medical Representative – Bandung

What you’ll do

As a Sales Representative with us, you’ll sell life-changing medicines within one of four therapeutic areas: Oncology, Respiratory, Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolic, and other diseases. Using your exceptional selling skills and personable attitude, you’ll build strong and strategic partnerships with healthcare providers across your territory – from clinicians and pharmacists to nurses and consultants.

The part you play in our business will be challenging, yet rewarding, requiring you to use your resilient, collaborative and diplomatic skillsets to make connections. The majority of your work will be field based, and will require you to be highly-organised, planning your monthly schedule, attending meetings and calls, as well as writing up reports.

What you’ll do

We are currently looking for a Medical Representative for Bandungarea, to join the  CVRM team to continue and build on the team’s success.

As Medical representative, you will have principal function of calling upon specialist physicians and retail pharmacies. Technical expert of specific company products, therapeutic classes or patient needs. Typically establishes long-term relationships with key customers.

Reporting to the Area Manager/First Line Sales Manager, you will be mainly responsible for Jakarta and upcountry to several nearby locations/areas.

This role involves:

  • Promoting class-leading products to General Practitioners and healthcare professionals.
  • Building long-term relationships through genuine passion for the positive impacts these products have on patient’s health.
  • Working as part of a collaborative team to optimise business impact.
  • Analysing sales performance and implementing strategies to achieve business outcomes.
  • Completing administrative requirements and working within a set promotional budget accurately and within a timely manner.

Essential for the role

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree (S1), preferably in Science background.
  • Experience within the pharmaceutical industry as a sales representative, preferably from multinational pharmaceutical company.
  • Proven successes in building strong external and internal relationships.
  • Effective communication, influencing and collaborative networking skills.
  • Drive to be a self-starter, with confidence in your personal presentation, sales skills and the ability to make a positive impact.

Desirable for the role

  • Territory knowledge would be advantageous.
  • Current domicile similar with the vacancy.
  • Good English language capabilities.
