Jakarta  Business Development and Partnerships  Experienced (Individual Contributor)

As a Business Development team, you will have the responsibility to identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships for all of the games published under Garena. 

Job Description

  • Conduct research and identify potential partners that align with the company’s goals
  • Establish and maintain relationships with partners and act as the main point of contact with external partners
  • Prepare compelling presentation materials to be presented to the potential partners
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of partnership agreement to ensure mutual benefits
  • Work closely with internal teams such as Legal, Finance, and Tax team to draft and finalize partnership
  • Work closely with the business teams, such as marketing, esports, and product team to learn the needs of each teams and align those needs with potential partners
  • Keep track on the delivery of partnership agreements and compile them into regular reports
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes that could impact partnerships

Job Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of working experience in Business Development and/or Partnerships in the technology, consumer goods, or banking industry
  • Able to build and maintain positive relationships with partners, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to effectively negotiate and deliver compelling presentations, successfully closing deals with potential partners
  • Solid experience in working with meticulous works that require high attention to details
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in Bahasa and English along with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Highly passionate about games with a good knowledge of the gaming industry in Indonesia; having a deeper curiosity for game products and the industry’s best practice
