Get to know our team:
Demand Planner is the demand growth engine for Grab, housed within Marketing. Work is interdisciplinary – the team focuses on growing demand efficiently, with projects covering overall strategy, ideation, experimentation and driving implementation of growth initiatives.


Get to know the role:
Role is a balance of advanced analytics and stakeholder management – leading day-to-day coordination with Vertical Heads (GrabMart Kilat), Marketing Heads on demand growth, while growing using data analyses to gain actionable insight e.g. revenue growth opportunities, demand spend optimization, customer strategy (acquisition, retention, cross/up-sell)


The day-to-day activities:

  • Analyze short, medium and long term issues impacting demand growth for GrabMart ID
  • Advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling in collaboration with the relevant Analytics teams to enable data driven decision making
  • Design initiatives to drive demand growth in the business and work with cross-functional teams to execute
  • Driving innovation via continuous iteration of segmentation methods, identification of high potential opportunities to A/B test, collaboration with Product team for improvement opportunities
  • Forecast growth and unit economics support budgeting cycles in collaboration with Strategy & Planning Team

Qualifications

The Must-Haves:

  • A minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in quick commerce industry, technology firms or financial services
  • Proven track record of senior stakeholder management
  • Confident in processing and analyzing complex data sets using Excel
  • Experience with customer lifecycle management is preferred but not essential
  • Proficiency in SQL is a plus
  • Quantitative discipline with strong business sense and ability to articulate complex analyses to a wide range of audiences, and translating these to actionable business insights
  • Ability to see big picture while not losing sight of details
  • A start-up attitude – willing to work hard to get things done
